SVA Alumni Win Awards at MetroCAF 2012

At this year’s Metropolitan Area College Computer Animation Festival (MetroCAF), 12 of the 26 films selected to screen were by 2012 BFA Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects alumni. In addition, of the four Special Recognition Jury Awards handed out, two of them went to SVA alumni as well: Sang Ho Lee and Zack Lydon for Still I Breathe, and Chris DeVito and Danica Parry for Ramus (watch below).

The 10th edition of the NYC ACM SIGGRAPH MetroCAF took place on September 28, and in addition to the ones above, the following films by alumni screened at FIT’s Haft Auditorium in New York City: Agape by Ha Na Gill; Eternity by Byung Hoon Han; Karma by Da Suel Kim and Yun Ah Oh; Encounter by See Hun Jeon; Distance by Sang Joon Kim; Totem by John Paul Lavin;
