In Person Fall 2010

September 9, 2010

The beginning of the fall 2010 semester also means the launch of the latest slate of Art in the First Person (AIFP) lectures and events at SVA. Starting in early September and running through the end of the term in December, the College will present talks by notable artists, critics and writers, who will provide in-depth discussions on issues in contemporary art.

The series kicks off when the BFA Visual and Critical Studies Department hosts a lecture by painter Alexi Worth on Tuesday, September 14, 6:30pm, at 133/141 West 21st Street, Room 101C; and continues two days later with the MFA Art Criticism and Writing Department’s Not Nature Poems: A Discussion of Current Trends in Ecopoetics, a panel discussion taking place on Thursday, September 16, 6:30pm, in the same location. These (and all other) AIFP events are free and open to the public.
