Affording Opportunity

For the eighth consecutive year, SVA is participating at The Affordable Art Fair New York City (AAF). The AAF provides new and established collectors with an opportunity to buy contemporary art in all media, with pieces priced between $100 – $10,000. This year’s fair runs May 6 – 9 at 7 W New York, located at 7 West 34th Street.

The SVA booth will display the work of 11 soon-to-be graduates from several departments: Benjamin Adcroft (BFA Fine Arts Department), Kate Davis Caldwell (MFA Fine Arts Department), Matthew Craven (MFA Fine Arts Department), John Dunwoody (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media Department), Kyle Ganson (BFA Photography Department), Robert Gill (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media Department), Hye Soon Hwang (MFA Fine Arts Department), Christopher Linn (BFA Photography Department), Wade Schaming (MFA Fine Arts Department), Matt Stone (MFA Fine Arts Department) and Natalia Yovane (MFA Fine Arts Department). In addition to the booth, the College will have two large-scale sculpture installations at the fair, including one by Schaming and another by Naoko Ito (MFA Fine Arts Department).
