History in the Making

October 5, 2009

The National September 11 Memorial and Museum is still in the construction phase, but aspects of the museum’s content and displays are already beginning to take shape. One of the principals of Local Projects, a design shop that creates interactive media installations for museums and public space, is MFA Interaction Design Department faculty member Jake Barton; his company has put together Make History, a collaborative storytelling Web platform for the museum that will allow users to share text, photos and video remembrances of 9/11/01.
