Get Lost

January 23, 2009

When ABC’s hit TV show Lost began its penultimate season this week, alumnus Jeff Jensen (BFA 1992 Communication Arts) was watching more closely than most. As part of his job as senior writer at Entertainment Weekly (EW), Jensen posts the “Doc Jensen” column at the morning after each Lost episode. The column not only recaps the events of the just-aired segment, but also combs through nearly every frame for clues to the show’s ongoing mysteries. He delves into seemingly passing details that add to the mythological storyline; for example, whenever a character is shown reading a book, Jensen notes the title and author, and then proceeds to connect the dots between the book and various Lost themes.
