Working Vacation

March 22, 2007

SVA is offering four summer abroad programs through the Office of International Studies. These programs are designed for painters, photographers and film students eager to pursue serious work in a professional environment, while also getting an opportunity to travel abroad to some of the world’s most scenic locations.

This summer, there are two- and three-week programs in France, Italy and Spain: Cinema in Toulouse (June 11 – 29), Painting in Florence (May 24 – June 9, or May 24 – June 16), Painting in Barcelona (June 22 – July 7, or June 22 – July 14) and Digital Photography in Florence (May 24 – June 9, or May 24 – June 16). Each program includes accommodations, guided tours and instruction from SVA’s professional faculty (you can receive a discount by making your own housing arrangements). Slots are still open in all of the study-abroad programs. Visit for video tours and information on how to apply.
