Modern Modernity

The Humanities and Sciences Department is gearing up for the 20th edition of its annual National Conference on Liberal Arts and the Education of Artists. This year’s interdisciplinary conference, entitled Reassessing the Modern, Modernity and Modernism, will feature nearly a dozen programs per day—on topics ranging from Modernity: Pro & Con and Painting Today to Christianity and the Sacred—plus a keynote speech by author and art critic Robert Storr, on Thursday, October 19, at 3:30pm.
