These Festivals Do Compute

The BFA Computer Art Department continues to get good news from film and animation festivals around the world. The Calderons, a film by Dan McNamara (BFA 2006 Computer Art) is a finalist in the New York Television Festival and has been nominated for Best Comedy Pilot, an Audience Award and the Grand Prize. Also, the Bermuda International Film Festival’s Kids Film Festival has invited five animated films by alumni from the department’s class of 2005 to screen in this year’s “Twisted Toons Teenscreen” program: Abridged, by Joshua Harvey and Mats Andersson; The Life of a Mime, by Jason Wolley; 1851, by Brian DiNoto; Modern Romance, by Amanda Pecharsky; and Eternity, by Travis Griggs and Ylli Orana.
