Three Exhibitionists

Several SVA alumni are busy with new exhibitions in New York right now. Inka Essenhigh (MFA 1994 Fine Arts) is opening a collection of new figurative abstraction paintings at 303 Gallery, 525 West 22nd Street, which will be on view March 4 – April 8, with an opening reception on Saturday, March 4, 6 – 8pm. Already on display is “Until the Kingdom Comes,” featuring sculpture and large-scale photography by Simen Johan (BFA 1995 Photography), at Yossi Milo Gallery, 525 West 25th Street, through Saturday, April 1. And two blocks north, sculptor and installation artist Alois Kronschläger (MFA 2002 Fine Arts) has his first NYC solo exhibition, “Repercussions: A Series of Surprisingly Divisive Events,” at Plus Ultra Gallery’s new location, 637 West 27th Street, through Saturday, March 25.
