Top Blog

January 27, 2006

Over the summer, the MFA Design Department started its own blog, called Crit, which the department’s systems administrator Glenn Eaton and student Clement Wu set up to allow students and faculty to have an open forum for discussing their thoughts and ideas about design. Now, just a few months later, Vancouver design firm Industrial Brand Creative has named Crit one of 2005’s 10 best design blogs, a list that also includes Design Observer, Speak Up and the Weblog from AIGA. “The criteria for our selections were simple,” says the introduction to the top-10 list: “Chosen sites needed to not only catch our eye with superb style and visual language, but more importantly with intelligent content and discourse relating to the diverse audience within the design field.”
