Three Masters, Three Exhibitions

A trio of MFA alumni has major exhibitions in NYC this week. Yuken Teruya (MFA 2001 Fine Arts) is showing a collection of his paper-bag tree cutouts in “Forest Inc.,” at the Josée Bienvenu Gallery, 529 West 20th Street, through Saturday, October 15; painter Katherine Bernhardt’s (MFA 2000 Fine Arts) “96 Degrees in the Shade” exhibition is at CANADA, 55 Chrystie Street, through Sunday, October 16; and Dinh Q. Lê (MFA 1999 Photography and Related Media) has a solo show of sculptural and mixed-media projects, “Vietnam: Destination for the New Millennium—The Art of Dinh Q. Lê,” that opened this week at the Asia Society, 725 Park Ave, through Sunday, January 15th, 2006.
