Continuing a springtime ritual, the MPS Art Therapy Department, in conjunction with the Visual Arts Foundation, presents “Bridging Art and Science: The Anatomy of Creativity,” its spring conference. On Friday, April 8, from 8am – 5pm at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, 36 Battery Place, Department Chair Deborah Farber will introduce a number of expert speakers and presentations in the field of art therapy, capped by The Developing Mind: Toward a Neurobiology of Interpersonal Experience author and educator Daniel Siegel, MD, who will give the keynote address. All proceeds from the conference will benefit the Visual Arts Foundation’s Ray Levine Art Therapy Scholarship Fund. Those interested in attending should RSVP at 212.592.2610.
