Distinguished Alumnus: Sarah Sze

The final Distinguished Alumnus Lecture for the 2004 – 05 academic year will feature installation artist Sarah Sze (MFA 1997 Fine Arts). Sze’s installations have been featured in exhibitions nationally and worldwide, including the São Paulo Biennial (2002), the Whitney Biennial (2000), the Venice Biennale (1999) and the Berlin Biennial for Contemporary Art (1998). Her work was also recognized with the MacArthur Foundation’s 2003 Fellowship, sometimes known as a “Genius Grant.” The lecture will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 7pm, in the Visual Arts Amphitheater, 209 East 23rd Street, Third Floor; Admission is free.
