The latest issue of the Visual Opinion (VO) is now available on the SVA campus. Volume 11, issue 1 of the entirely student-run magazine features a look at the College’s student activities and organizations, articles by students about what they did over the summer and a student-friendly guide to microwave cuisine. Editor-in-Chief Monika Abate and Art Director Christine Hwong are always looking for more student contributions, and can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In other print news, Print magazine’s Regional Design Annual 2004 features several SVA publications, including subway posters by graphic design instructors James Victore and Frank Young, the Fall 2003 issue of the Visual Arts Journal, SVA’s Yearbook, and the 38’ x 28’ vinyl billboard on the side of the College’s 209 East 23rd Street building, designed by Brian Lightbody (BFA 2004 Graphic Design). This recognition from Print comes continues an award-winning season at SVA’s Visual Arts Press.
