The New York Foundation for the Arts has named Jose Carlos Casado (MFA 2001 Computer Art) a 2004 Artists’ Fellow in Video. Casado won one of 148 fellowships awarded to New York State artists, part of an overall grant of more than $1 million. His video work is currently being shown in a solo exhibition, “Well-Dressed Lies,” at Postmasters Gallery, 459 West 19th Street; and in a group show at Postmasters, “A Perfect Day for Bananafish, “which also features work by Steve Mumford (MFA 1994 Fine Arts) and Wolfgang Staehle (BFA 1978 Film and Video). Both exhibitions are running through Saturday, July 24.
