Quite a CAD

July 15, 2004

Joseph J. Park (BFA 2004 Interior Design) won the first-place prize in the undergraduate category of the Caddies, the annual awards given by Cadalyst, a magazine that spotlights work done with computer aided design (CAD) software and related technologies. Park’s winning project was rounded, mobile hydraulic glass panels that he designed as part of his interior design course work at SVA. Park’s work was so outstanding that he also placed second in the same category for his industrial greenhouse design.

In other award news, Meeyoung Kim (MFA 2004 Computer Art) was recognized in the experimental category of the Flashforward and Flash Film Festival for her thesis work, JungleGym-mdv.
