A Perfect 10

December 12, 2003

A selected survey of 10 years of drawings and prints by Suzanne McClelland, instructor in the MFA Fine Arts Department, will be on view at K.S. Art, 73 Leonard Street, through December 30. McClelland is a 1989 alumnus of the department in which she teaches. This is the first New York exhibition dedicated to McClelland’s graphic work. With over 50 pieces on display, visitors to the gallery have an opportunity to examine the artist’s intimate working and thinking processes as she forms drawings out of words. McClelland’s work was featured in the 2002 publication Vitamin P: New Perspectives in Painting by Phaidon Press. For more information and a selection of McClelland’s work, visit the gallery’s web site.
