On December 1, veteran advertising journalist Michael Wilke (BFA 1992 Communication Arts) will present The Commercial Closet, an entertaining presentation about perceptions of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender portrayals in mainstream advertising. Co-sponsored by The Commercial Closet Association and IBM, the event will include the screening of over 50 global spots spanning three decades of advertising.

Wilke is the executive director of The Commercial Closet Association (CCA), a non-profit educational organization. The Commercial Closet party will be held at the Art Directors Club (ADC), 106 West 29th Street, from 6 to 8pm. Admission is free for ADC members; $10 for non-members. R.S.V.P. to res@adcglobal.org
