The Proof is in the Proof

May 16, 2003

In an article in the June 2003 issue of HOW, SVA graphic design instructor Adam Wahler talks about how to print a “perfect” proof for a client. The feature presents a detailed description of the proofing process Wahler and his company, A to A Graphic Services, Inc., have developed. According to Wahler, they have created an “almost real proofing system” that presents clients with proofs that look as close to the finished piece as possible. “Everything we do is simple chemistry and photography,” Wahler says. Wahler teaches three levels of computer classes for graphic designers at SVA and regularly invites his senior seminar students to his studio for hands-on computer work.
