Tales from the Dark Side
The BFA Illustration and Cartooning Department presents work by third-year students in an exhibition entitled American Gothic/American Noir at PPOW Gallery, 476 Broome Street; April 21 – May 2. The exhibition is based on the theme of the American dream gone awry. There will be a reception for the artists on April 23, from 6 – 8pm.

SomanydynamoS. Students from the BFA Fine Arts Department present a varied display of work in this exhibition curated by artist and SVA faculty member Luca Buvoli. April 17 – May 3 at the Visual Arts Gallery in SoHo, 137 Wooster Street; Reception: April 23, 5 – 7pm.

Dressed and Stripped Bare. Two photography students present new work in this exhibition curated by associate director of Student Galleries Rachel Gugelberger. April 15 – May 14 at the Eastside Gallery, 214 East 21 Street; Reception: April 24, from 5 – 7pm.
