Edna Harris (BFA Film and Video, 1999) has just finished her first professional film project. The New York City native wrote, directed, produced, and acted in an independent film called Generation Gap. This educational special is scheduled for PBS and cable distribution this spring. The film is an “interactive sitcom” designed to teach pre-teens how to resolve conflicts. Colin Bressler (BFA Film and Video, 1998) and Andrew Guidone (BFA Film and Video, 1998) worked on the project with Ms. Harris. The young filmmaker has also started working on her next project, April Fools, which takes place in her Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Before moving behind the scenes of filmmaking, Ms. Harris had a career in front of the camera, acting on Broadway, film, television commercials, and doing stand-up comedy.
