Times Square Sign Workshop

January 10, 2003

The BFA Computer Art Department is offering a non-credit course this semester called Times Square Sign Workshop. In this course, students will explore the technical and design aspects of large-scale LED displays, and collaboratively develop video and animation for specific signs in Times Square. That’s right, students will actually get to see their work on Times Square signs. The workshop will be taught jointly by Tom Brigham, an Academy Award-winning visual effects and image processing expert (he invented morphing); and Trilby Schreiber, a designer/producer and long-time SVA instructor. For more information, contact Ms. Schreiber at trilbys@aol.com.
