Evidence of Simen Johan

March 1, 2002

Photographer Simen Johan (BFA Photography 1995), a native of Norway who grew up in Sweden, has been on a roll since he first landed in New York City ten years ago. He has captured a loyal following not only with his innovative technique (he manipulates his photographs digitally using multiple negatives), but also with his ongoing series depicting unattended children. His newest work and exhibition, Evidence of Things Unseen, is on view through April 6 at the Yossi Milo Gallery (formerly known as Gallery 24) located at 552 West 24 Street. For more information about Simen Johan or to view more samples of his recent work, visit www.yossimilogallery.com.
