Making Hay from Trash

Justin Gignac, a senior in Advertising, has just started a new venture creating garbage sculpture in an attempt to pay his tuition. He packages random trash from the streets of New York in three-and-a-half-inch Lucite cubes, and people are actually buying them. He sells his work from a makeshift stand in Times Square or in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He was recently featured in Time Out New York and some local papers in his native Connecticut.
