December Does Digital

December 14, 2001

On December 17 the New York Digital Salon (NYDS) begins its ninth annual exhibition of digital art; it will be on view until January 16, 2002 in the Visual Arts Museum. The NYDS exhibits the work of prominent digital artists from around the globe-this year 17 countries are represented-and displays the numerous forms in which digital art has evolved, from digital prints to interactive installations, CD-ROMs and computer animation to digital video, audio and music performances. There will be a reception for the artists in the museum on December 17 from 6 to 8 pm.
