SVA Faculty and Alumni in ‘NYC 1993’ Exhibition at New Museum

Several SVA alumni and faculty members are part of the New Museum’s latest exhibition, “NYC 1993: Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star,” its subtitle taken from the Sonic Youth album recorded in the same year that this show examines.

The December 2012 issue of Art in America launched the magazine’s 100th anniversary celebration (which continues throughout 2013) and for the kickoff, SVA faculty members and an alumnus were invited to reminiscence about the publication’s past while also looking towards the future of art.
