Two Dozen SVA Students Selected for Society of Illustrators Exhibition

A total of 24 students from the BFA Illustration and Cartooning Department have been selected to exhibit their work in the Society of Illustrators’ 2012 Student Scholarship Competition, which opens on May 9 at the Society (123 East 63 Street).

The latest edition of SVA’s bi-annual Visual Arts Journal is now available online. The Spring 2012 issue considers the meaning of mutual critique, collaboration and support and contains 76 pages of interviews, features, news and reviews.
Kickstarter Campaign for ‘The Adventures of Dr. McNinja’ Game

FatCat GameWorks recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to develop Chris Hastings’s (BFA 2005 Illustration and Cartooning) popular Web comic, “The Adventures of Dr. McNinja,” into a game that would be available on iOS, Android, and PC/Mac in addition to the Web.
