SVA Alumni Create Visual Effects for ‘The Butler’

Several SVA alumni were part of a team that created the stunning visual effects for Lee Daniels’ historical drama The Butler, starring Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker. luke2009Visual effects and motion graphics company The Molecule, which is co-run by alumnus Luke DiTommaso (BFA 2001 Computer Art), was hired for the job and BFA Computer Art, Computer Animation and Visual Effects Department alumni Osvaldo Andreaus (2010), Henry Jean (2011), Maxim Kornev (2008), Victoria Penzes (2013), Kenneth Polonski (2007), Chad M. Sikora (2007) and Selim Yang (2011) worked on the project. DiTommaso served as Visual Effects Supervisor for the film and oversaw the project.
