Five current MFA Fine Arts Department students have been selected to participate in the “Transmediation” video art program at the College Art Association‘s 101st Annual Conference, taking place February 13 – 16 at the Hilton Hotel New York, 1335 Avenue of the Americas. Katrín I Jónsdóttir Hjördísardóttir Hirt, Andrea McGinty, Jamie Sneider, Naormi Meijia Wang and Brian Whiteley will all have their works screened in the ARTspace Media Lounge at the conference, which attracts more than 6,000 artists, historians, students, educators, critics, curators, collectors, librarians and gallerists over its four days of presentations and panel discussions exploring the study, practice, and history of art and visual culture.
