BFA Film, Video and Animation Department faculty member Dejan Georgevich recently received the 2012 Deluxe Bud Stone Award from the International Cinematographers Guild (ICG), as part of the 16th Annual Emerging Cinematographer Awards. The Deluxe Bud Stone Award, one of just four honors given annually by the ICG, recognizes outstanding educational contributions to the art and craft of cinematography, and was presented on September 28 at the Directors Guild in Los Angeles. Steven Poster, national president of the ICG, said, “These awardees have all taken an active interest in promoting the art of cinematography and are helping to guide the next generation of camera professionals.” For more info, visit Variety.
