Alumnus Jesse Averna (BFA 2008 Film and Video) recently won his second Emmy® award for Outstanding Achievement in Multiple Camera Editing. Averna received the honor along with co-editor John Tierney and supervising editors Tim Carter and Todd James for work on the 2011 season of the long-running PBS children’s show Sesame Street.
The 39th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy® Awards ceremony was held at the Westin Bonaventure in downtown Los Angeles and broadcast nationally on Sunday, June 17.
The Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy® Awards, presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS), recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television production.
