Four recent D-Crit grads are having no trouble keeping busy. Molly Heintz (MFA 2011 Design Criticism), Aileen Kwun (MFA 2011 Design Criticism), Avinash Rajagopal (MFA 2011 Design Criticism), and Vera Sacchetti (MFA 2011 Design Criticism) have already formed the editorial consultancy group Superscript, which is set to kick off its first initiative, the Architecture and Design Book Club.
The debut meeting of the ADBC takes place on Thursday, August 18 at 6:30pm on the High Line at the 23rd Street lawn. Up for discussion is William Whyte’s 1980 study of New York City plazas The Social Life of Small Urban Spaces, and leading the talk is journalist, critic, and architectural historian Alexandra Lange. All are welcome.
