In The Press: CE in the New York Press

March 31, 2011

Touted as a “convenient and trusted place to get started,” the Division of Continuing Education’s photography classes have received a glowing write-up in the New York Press.

CE Program Coordinator Keren Moscovitch (MFA 2005 Photography, Video and Related Media) talks about the range of the classes offered and the benefits to students of varied experience levels: “Someone who’s never taken a photo in their lives can learn from the very beginning how to take a photo and develop or process it in the digital darkroom. Then the courses get more intermediate and specific from there.” Moscovitch continues by emphasizing the professional determination of CE students, saying, “I don’t like to use the word ‘hobby’…Everyone’s pretty serious.”
