David Sandlin’s Chashama Window

March 14, 2011

After livening up the New York City subways earlier this year, BFA Fine Arts, BFA Illustration and Cartooning, and MFA Illustration as Visual Essay Department faculty member David Sandlin has now brought his talents to Chashama’s program of transforming storefront windows into works of art. Sandlin created an original work for a window of the defunct Donnell Library Center, 20 West 53rd Street, across the street from the Museum of Modern Art, New York.

The window display will be on view through Tuesday, March 29. For more information on Chashama and its wide range of art projects, visit chashama.org.
