In The Press: Zachary Delacruz in Black Book

January 3, 2011

In a recent interview in Black Book, Zachary Delacruz (a current student in the BFA Fine Arts Department) talks about his work with longtime friend Hillary Weston.

Beginning with his early childhood explorations into art, Delacruz discusses his favorite mediums and his major influences, including both painting and old horror films. He also explains his process and concepts behind his latest project with shoes, which he began at SVA in April 2010, and how faculty member Marilyn Minter has been a pivotal influence on his evolving practice.
