The 600-page book covers the full scope of practical information for digital photographers, ranging from selecting the right camera to retouching and printing images.- Mandala Memory is a new iPhone/iPad app from The DuKode Studio, run by alumni Arlene Ducao (MFA 2004 Computer Art) and Ilias Koen (MFA 2005 Computer Art). The app updates classic matching games with more than four dozen mandala images by artist Zoe Keramea. Players can customize the layout and difficulty level of the game, which is available in the iTunes App Store for $1.99.
- Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (Reprise, 2010) is the latest album by My Chemical Romance, featuring lead singer Gerard Way (BFA 1999 Cartooning). The concept record features 15 thematically linked songs with a storyline rooted in Way’s background working on comic books: the outlaw group The Killjoys fighting against the evil Korse, who is voiced by comics writer Grant Morrison.
