October 1, 2010

Applied Arts magazine has announced that current BFA Advertising and Graphic Design Department student Kathryn Davenel is a winner in the Student category of its 2010 Applied Arts Awards. Davenel won for her motion graphics work Restoration Declaration, which she describes as, “a stop motion film, composed of 800+ photos, conveying an environmental message through the waste. This film took about 300 hours to create and lead to my living room looking like a dumpster for approximately three months.”
