From October 1 – 3, The New Yorker presented its annual festival of readings, panel discussions and in-person interviews with some of the leading names in art, culture, literature and politics. This year, several events were hosted at the SVA Theatre, where festival-goers attended a live interview with actor Alec Baldwin; the Living History panel discussion with writers Peter Carey, E.L. Doctorow and Annie Proulx; a talk by journalist Ken Auletta titled How Google and the Internet Affect All Media; and more.
The New Yorker is making available video of many of these programs on a pay-per-view basis through FORA.tv.
