One in a series of occasional dispatches from SVA’s Summer Arts Abroad programs.
This year the MFA Design Department organized a summer program entitled Masters Workshop: Design History, Theory and Practice in Venice and Rome. Participants are studying visual communication with Italian and American designers and design historians. As part of this two-week traveling workshop, the students are also keeping a daily blog of their on-location European experiences and are posting extensive photo sets.
