Students from the BFA Interior Design Department have work included in “Arch Schools: R(each)ing Out,” an exhibition assembled by the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter (AIANY). The show will be on view at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place, through Friday, October 19. The exhibition is devoted exclusively to the work of interior design and architecture students and demonstrates exemplary student work from several college programs, including SVA alongside The City College of New York, Columbia University, Cornell University, Princeton University, Syracuse University and Yale University.
This exhibition marks the third year that the AIANY has put together a show of student work, and this year they asked the schools to submit work on the theme “Architecture Inside/Out.” In conjunction with the exhibition, there will be a Deans Roundtable and Reception on Monday, September 24, 6 – 9pm; and [email protected]!, which takes place Thursday, October 11, 9pm – 2am.
