- Celebrate Mexico Now: SVA is collaborating with Celebrate Mexico Now, a citywide festival showcasing the vanguard of contemporary Mexican art and culture, to screen the work of Mexico’s top independent filmmakers. There will be a screening of selected shorts by Luis Felipe Hernández Alanís, Carlos Armella, Dante Cerano, Roberto Fiesco, Pedro González-Rubio, Eduviges Tomás and Álvaro Zendejas, followed by a Q & A session with the filmmakers. - Still Missing: Beauty Absent Social Life Panel Discussion: A panel discussion, in conjunction with the exhibition at the Visual Arts Museum, moderated by SVA faculty member and Art in America Senior Editor Raphael Rubinstein. - Art Therapy Lecture: Judi Betts, Med, AWS, will present a talk entitled Continuous Creativity, discussing the importance of creativity in the art therapy field.
