Good art doesn’t come , but that doesn’t mean it can’t be affordable. For the third consecutive year, work created by SVA students will be available for sale at the AAF Contemporary Art Fair, which aims to meet the demands of people looking to buy quality artwork at reasonable prices. This year, more than 130 galleries are taking part in the four-day fair, October 27 – 30, at Pier 92, 52nd Street and Twelfth Avenue.
Eleven graduates from the class of 2005 were selected to represent the wide range of work produced at the College: Corry Arnold (BFA Photography), Jonathan Bean (MFA Illustration as Visual Essay), Heather Boose-Weiss (BFA Photography), Katie Kingma (BFA Photography), Leat Klingman (MFA Fine Arts), Delaney Larson (BFA Fine Arts), Peter Mallo (MFA Fine Arts), Mary O’Malley (MFA Fine Arts), Rachel Papo (MFA Photography, Video and Related Media), Daniel Perrone (BFA Photography) and Emily Silver (BFA Fine Arts).
