  • “Uniform(ity),” an exhibition that considers the role of uniforms in female representation, featuring the photographs of MFA Photography, Video and Related Media Department students Rachel Feierman, Tania Fernandez and Amy Stein.   • “Inaugural SVA Alumni Society Auction,” over 100 works by SVA alumni, faculty, mentors and students, with proceeds going towards the Alumni Scholarship Fund.   • “John Gundelfinger: In Memoriam (1937 – 1991),” a retrospective exhibition featuring over 70 paintings, illustrations, drawings and collages from this longtime SVA instructor. Visual Arts Museum, 209 East 23rd Street, September 6 – October 8; Reception: Thursday, September 8, 6 – 8pm.
