Every summer, SVA’s Division of Continuing Education offers several programs that give students an opportunity to see and make art overseas. This year, four programs are available in three locations. Painting in Barcelona (June 24 – July 9, or June 24 – July 15), Digital Photography in Florence (May 26 – June 11, or May 26 – June 18), Painting in Florence (May 26 – June 11, or May 26 – June 18) and Art of Ancient Greece (May 25 – June 7, or May 25 – June 14) all provide the chance to visit international art capitals and learn from expert guides and teachers. The programs in Barcelona and Florence also offer access to studio space and facilities, letting students put the inspiration of their surroundings to work.
All of the trips allow students to earn SVA course credits over the summer as they soak up the history, art and beautiful environments of Spain, Italy and Greece.
