School of Visual Arts has been awarded an Export Achievement Certificate from the United States Department of Commerce in recognition of “recent accomplishments in the global marketplace” due to the success of the College’s international student programs. On Wednesday, May 26, Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (D, New York) visited SVA to personally present the certificate to President David Rhodes. SVA attracts students from all over the world who are key to the U.S.’s efforts to create economic and educational ties in international markets.
