SVA’s Web site has just undergone a major overhaul, and the new look and content are at www.schoolofvisualarts.edu. Web site creative director Anthony P. Rhodes and the Web team of Toni-Ann Accardi, Adam Behar, Abimbola Famuyiwa (BFA 1997 Advertising and Graphic Design), James McKibben, Steve Osit, Ben Rhodes and Jonathan Robles (BFA 1999 Fine Arts) collaborated with media-development firm Funny Garbage (co-founded by former SVA fine arts student Peter Girardi) to give the College’s online presence an exciting new look. The new site highlights more student artwork, gallery events and campus information; features numerous slideshows, allowing visitors to browse through images of current work alongside visuals from SVA’s 50-plus-year history; and introduces Squidley, the College’s new online mascot. While the site is primarily targeted at prospective students and their families, there are also resources for current students and alumni. Click here to meet Squidley and check out the new look, then come back often for updated graphics and information.
