Two SVA faculty members have high-tech art on display in NYC:

MFA Computer Art instructor Joseph Nechvatal will be exhibiting computer-robotic assisted paintings and viral software in Real Time {a procedure of ignudiO excess}, at Universal Concepts Unlimited, 507 West 24th Street, from February 21 to March 27; there will be an opening reception on Saturday, February 21, 6 – 8pm.

BFA Computer Art instructor Jeffrey Lerer is a part of the New York Film Academy’s Filmmaking Fellowship Winners Festival Tour. 3D animator Lerer and filmmaker Bill Creston present a double bill of 8-10 films each, including Lerer’s Manuscript Fragments Found at the Gilbert Hotel, with a discussion to follow. Thursday, February 26, 7:30pm, at Abrons Art Center of the Henry Street Settlement, 466 Grand Street. Admission is free.
