BFA Computer Art Department senior Christopher Delia recently won a Bronze Award in the Web Division of the 2003 Canon Digital Creators Contest (CDCC). There were over 500 other entries in the Web category for this award from around the world. Delia won his award for the wwww.imnotanaddict.com web site. Canon launched the CDCC in 2000 with the aim of identifying and supporting next-generation talent pioneering new directions in visual expression. Now in its fourth year, the CDCC continues to be recognized on a global scale with approximately 3,573 entries from 77 countries.
An awards ceremony for the winners was held in Tokyo, Japan, last month; however, the BFA Computer Art Department is in the process of working with Canon to host an awards ceremony for those in the U.S. who could not attend the Tokyo ceremony.
