BFA Computer Art instructor Joshua Davis has been invited by the Olympic Committee (OC) to participate in a series of lectures and forums on international web design issues in Beijing, China this November. The OC is gathering internationally recognized speakers (designers, technologists, architects and thinkers) in hopes they will provide ideas and solutions that will be compiled into a comprehensive proposal to make the Beijing 2008 Olympic Web site a success. Davis was named one of the Ten Most Creative People by the IPPA (Internet Professional Publishers Association) and was the winner of the 2001 Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica in the Net Excellence category.
