Thirty recent paintings by BFA Illustration & Cartooning instructor Peter Fiore are now on view at the Port of Call Gallery in Warwick, New York, through October 19. There will be a reception for the artist on September 13 from 6 to 9pm. Fiore is a highly regarded painter who draws inspiration for his landscapes from the hills and valleys of the Delaware Valley, the Black Dirt region of New York, the expanses of New England’s eastern seaboard, and as far away as Italy. This show features a suite of four large paintings depicting the seasons. Fiore has received over 75 distinguished awards, including a silver medal from the Society of Illustrators, where he was president from 1993 to 1995. He has exhibited worldwide, and his paintings are included in numerous private and corporate collections. Fiore has another two upcoming exhibitions back to back: Visit his web site for details.
